TARUN MANSUKHANI and KARAN JOHAR

TARUN MANSUKHANI and KARAN JOHAR

After his last film DOSTANA turned out to be a box office hit, director Tarun Mansukhani's life has got a bit busier.

Though the sequel of the hit film with Imran and Ranbir is already making headlines all over; the director candidly admits that he's looking forth to the sequel too.

He says, 'I love the chemistry between Imran and Ranbir and I think the duo is a dream cast for any filmmaker these days. I am very passionate about DOSTANA sequel and would like to bring it to screen soon.'

CHECK OUT: DOSTANA sequel to be back with a bang

Talking about his association with friend and mentor Karan Johar, Tarun adds, 'I love the chemistry we share and with the kind of understanding we have I don't think I can work with anyone else. He gives me immense freedom and it's easy for me to put my point across to him since we look at things from the same perspective.'

Tarun, who's busy scripting his next film thinks that it's immense pressure to meet up with the audiences expectations especially when you have delivered a hit. 'I'm feeling more nervous than I was during the making of DOSTANA since I also have more expectations from myself like the audiences do. I hope it will match-up to that with my next film,' he further adds.

With Tarun making his loyalties unambiguous, looks like KJo has found a good reason to be all smiles.
