'Rambo' Stallone to boost KAMBAKKHT ISHQ further!

One of the hottest films of the year, Sajid Nadiadwala's KAMBHAKKHT ISHQ, is all set for a big opening at the box-office, considering the very good advance that the film has seen across multiplexes and single screens.
A lot of factors are being attributed by the trade for this unusually good advance of the film, since Akshay Kumar films are not known for great advance bookings. First of all the excellent hype that the makers have been able to create through excellent promos. Secondly the lead pair of Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor and third its chartbusting music (especially ''Om Mangalam'').

However, what most in the trade have conveniently ignored is the presence of action idol Sylvester Stallone in the film, which is sure to help its strong initial further. (We are not talking about Bredon Routh and Denise Richards). And the reason being that Sly is a star in his own right and has ruled the hearts of action freaks all over the world. Even in small towns and big cities of India, his movies have been patronized by all and they have loved him in his roles as ROCKY and RAMBO. He has inspired stars like Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan into body building, such was (and still is in the DVD/CD circuit!) the craze for this Hollywood star. The intelligent producer Sajid Nadiadwala knows it and that is the reason why in the promos we have his name being announced as John Rambo, as that is what the audience in India is familiar with.
The much awaited KAMBAKKHT ISHQ is all set to open today to a great start all over and it will indeed be a treat to see two action icons, Sylvester and Akshay, together on-screen!.
