PAYING GUESTS hasn't quite set the box office on fire. Also, this Paritosh Painter directed film was primarily being led by its male star cast with all the heroines taking a back seat. Still, most of the leading ladies from the film are game for being a part of its sequel if it indeed happens. This comes in the wake of Subhash Ghai announcing the film's sequel even before this comical outing had completed its first week run at the theaters.

''I would more than love to be a part of PAYING GUESTS - 2'', says Sayali Bhagat who was unaware about the sequel being launched till informed about it, ''It would be great to repeat all the fun''.

Out of Mumbai for an entire week before Ghai's announcement came in, Sayali was busy with her shows. Incidentally, she had comparatively larger role in the film when compared most of her counterparts.

On the other hand Riya Sen, who had an on and off appearance in the film, is happy too to feature in PAYING GUESTS - 2 if given an opportunity. ''When it comes to Mukta Arts (of Subhash Ghai), there is no reason why I should think twice. If they offer me a role in the film, it will be a pleasure like always to be a part of the project'', says Riya who has earlier worked with the banner in APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY.

Neha Dhupia, who has clearly been doing far better in her career than being a part of 'blink and you would miss' role as seen in PAYING GUESTS isn't shying away from the film either. She says, ''I will be happy to do the sequel''.

One wishes though that this time around the makers make her much more prominent in the scheme of things and make better use of her association considering the fact that off late she has proved her mettle with both offbeat (MITHYA, DASVIDANIYA) as well as commercial films (SINGH IS KINNG).

Celina Jaitley, who incidentally had a relatively better etched out role than the others, was unavailable for comment. Paired opposite Shreyas Talpade, she played her mooney eyed girl act well though she could certainly do better than just being there for the song and dance sequences.

CHECK OUT: PAYING GUESTS and the elusive HOUSE HUNT IN THE METROS

As per reports, all the four male leads from the film, Shreyas Talpade, Javed Jaffrey, Aashish Chaudhary and Vatsal Sheth, have already been sent feelers for making an appearance in the sequel to PAYING GUESTS.

Out of the four actors, even though the film clearly belongs to Shreyas, he is a bit guarded before committing on taking the plunge. ''Well, I might be a part of the film depending upon how the script eventually shapes up'', says Shreyas.

Well, looking at the way the script of PAYING GUESTS had indeed shaped up, Subhash Ghai, Paritosh Painter and their team would have a lot of convincing to do before Shreyas and rest of the actors get ready to face the camera again for the film's sequel!
