CHASE: Anuj Saxena survives near-fatal accident

Telly actor turned producer Anuj Saxena, who is currently working in a film titled CHASE being directed by Jag Mohan Mundhra and produced by his own production house Maverick Films, met with a fatal accident recently while shooting.
Apparently it so happened that Anuj, who was shooting in Mumbai's Khoja Bunglow Versova, was doing an action scene with the cops. And being a thorough professional, Anuj did his action sequences on his own instead of using a duplicate. The action sequence required him to fall on the sofa... he fell but some wooden stuff hurt his head badly from back. When he got up he felt that something is wrong and then he realized that he was bleeding profusely. On knowing this, the unit members immediately rushed him to the nearby hospital.

Anuj Saxena says, ''It was an interesting sequence, which involved fist and knife fight. I enjoy doing action scenes. After falling on sofa I realized something is amiss. It was then I realized I was bleeding copiously. I was taken to the doctor and got sixteen stitches. Now I am back to shooting''
Even in the last schedule of CHASE while doing the stunts he had pulled his thigh muscle and was bed ridden for three days. Although Anuj resumed shooting even after sixteen stitches as he didn't want the shoot schedule to be disturbed.
The film which is in its last schedule, is expected to release somewhere in December.
