Ace filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor is a relieved man these days. Reason, his friend and Oscar winner filmmaker Danny Boyle has decided to fund his long pending project PAANI, which Shekhar Kapoor has always been gung-ho about.

The film which takes a futuristic look at the water scarcity in Mumbai is all set to get the much needed shot in the arm after the funding deal came through. The film is expected to go on the floors soon after Shekhar is done with his pending professional commitments.
