The strike between the producers and the multiplex owners, which has now reached a resolution point, has put many filmmakers through a tough time in the last few months. One such filmmaker, the well known director Kabir Khan is waiting impatiently for the films to release back in the multiplexes. Waiting in the wings of his forthcoming release NEW YORK which stars Katrina Kaif and John Abraham, the director says, 'I hope the deal between the producers and the multiplex owners finally settles down so that we can go ahead with our films release.'

Incidentally NEW YORK was supposed to release some time back but the stand-off between the producers and multiplex owners has delayed its release.
With the films set to release in multiplexes again, lets see how NEW YORK positions its release date vis-a-vis the rush for releases at the box-office.
