Madhur to produce a film on prostitution

Madhur Bhandarkar seems to be smitten by realistic subjects and that seems to be the reason for the filmmaker's next subject that is based on prostitution. According to reports good friend Ashok Pandit, whose association with Madhur Bhandarakar dates to two decades, will be directing the film that is till in the scripting stage.

Says Pandit, "I have been planning to make a film on prostitution that will be produced by Madhur. It's still early to talk about the details of the project as it's still in its scripting stage. I'm yet to finalize the cast for the film."

Pandit, who has earlier directed the film SHEEN, seems to be all excited about his next venture. "My film is inspired from a real life incident that I came across while making a short film recently. I'm sure the realistic drama will be a fresh take on the age old issue of prostitution", he ends.
