ALL THE BEST and KAJRAARE |
| Ok, so producers were all united in their quest against the multiplexes. But now with the deal being signed, the issue resolved and strike being through, it's back to the drawing board for producers out there who are battling it out to find the best release slot available. No wonder, Diwali season is being considered to be the pick of the lot, what with at least three films already been confirmed for 16h October.
These are ALL THE BEST, BLUE and KAJRAARE.
Each of the three are prestigious projects to begin with though BLUE and ALL THE BEST are clearly the front runners, primarily due to their huge budget. While BLUE is being touted to be in the vicinity of 100 crores, even ALL THE BEST is a lavish outing, what with director Rohit Shetty known for spending money on his outings. This leaves KAJRAARE which is a Himesh Reshammiya outing with a T-Series backing.
CHECK OUT:KAMBAKKHT ISHQ, LOVE AAJ KAL & ALADIN in a row
While there already has been an official statement from T-Series around the release of KAJRAARE, it has to be seen that which of the two films - BLUE or ALL THE BEST - eventually arrive on the D-day. It is impossible though that both would ultimately come on the same day. Reason? Both of them star Sanjay Dutt in the lead and neither of the makers would want the two films clashing with each other.
Though Ajay Devgan, who produces BLUE, had made his intentions clear about ALL THE BEST coming on Diwali, director Anthony D'Souza may be hoping that there is enough space made available for him this festive season since his film has already been slightly delayed (BLUE was earlier being planned for August release).
Now it has to be seen which of the two film makers blink first! The 'tamasha' has begun!
