Not many are aware that AA DEKHEN ZARA re-releases this Friday. Well, in the list of those who have been surprised by the sudden development, also add Neil Nitin Mukesh, the film's leading actor.
''Are you serious'', he questions in a pleasantly shocked tone when informed about AA DEKHEN ZARA arriving on big screen again, ''If that's indeed happening, it's great yaar. I hope the film gets its due now.''
When released 11 weeks back on 27th March, the film couldn't release on national chain of multiplexes due to things heating up on the front of producers v/s multiplex stand off. Even though the strike was officially supposed to commence from 4th April onwards, supposedly there were arm twisting tactics being applied on EROS, the producers of the film, as there were attempts to convince them on the deal as suggested by the multiplexes. However, EROS chose to hold back the film's release across country's multiplexes and instead arrived only on single screens and stand alone multiplexes.

Now that the strike has been called off, the film is all set to arrive on multiplexes all over this Friday. This Jehangir Surti directed film may not have worked at the box office but was graced by fairly decent reviews coming its way. Also, the thriller element worked in its favour which allowed it to chug along at select theaters during last 11 weeks. So far the film has netted a little over 6 crores but since it sees a re-release now, the makers are taking chances in anticipation of additional moolah flowing in.
It has to be seen how audience receive the film though since KAL KISSNE DEKHA is a fresh release this Friday while the DVDs of AA DEKHEN ZARA too have been available on the stands for quite some time now.
