Who can forget the real life couple Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah's spunky never seen before celluloid chemistry in Abbas Tyrewala's directorial debut JAANE TU...YA JAANE NA. Considering their track was responsible for adding a heavy dose of witty moments in the film, it was initially held that Abbas had once again decided to cast the two in his forthcoming film, 1-800-LOVE. But unfortunately, we hear, Abbas had to do away with the casting of his lucky mascots even before he could begin shooting.

If you're assuming fallout, well nothing of that sort happened. Ratna and Naseer were yet again supposed to play a couple & required only for four days of shooting in London. But the Good Samaritan that he his, Abbas found it cumbersome to ask them to fly down for such little work. Thus it was better off to just delete their roles from the film.
Well Abbas, after watching the deceased hubby who enlivens from a painting on the wall to chide wifey dearest, we are waiting to witness their next pairing together!
