Even after Ashutosh Gowariker walked away with most accolades for his epic JODHAA AKBAR, he still had the audacity to go on stage and reportedly question why Priyanka won the Best Actress award for FASHION and not his leading lady Aishwarya, thus upsetting Piggy Chops, the leading lady for his next WHAT'S YOUR RASHEE .
It's heard that moments after PC collected her award, Ashu went up to collect his award for the Best Director. The first thing he uttered after grabbing the mike was telling Priyanka that how much he loved her but ended up asking her how she got the award for Best Actress when Aishwarya was also nominated in the same category. A hush fell over the entire gathering. Possibly Ashu realized that he'd gone too far. He added fuel to the fore saying that maybe it is because PC was very hard-working while Ash is a natural.
It seems Priyanka looked like she'd been struck by lightning. She didn't know whether to cry or just run out considering her own director was humiliating her in public but she kept her dignity and smiled through the proceedings. She was so upset with the director that she stayed away from the after-party at Abhi-Ash's suite.
Gosh maybe riding high on success of this magnum opus,is costing too much. Better hold on your reins, before your 'rashee' turns back on you, Ashu!
