A WEDNESDAY maker returns with FAST FORWARD

After backing a gritty contemporary thriller A WEDNESDAY, producer Anjum Rizvi is now back with FAST FORWARD, a young musical entertainer that has dance as its backbone. Directed by first timer Zaigham Ali Syed, the film has been ready for a while and has been waiting for an opportune moment to hit the screens.
The film is about three youngsters who want to make it BIG in the world of dance. They are Rehan Khan (JAANA - LET'S FALL IN LOVE, AWARAPAN), Akshay Kapoor (ALAG, POPCORN KHAYO MAST HO JAAYO) and debutant Siddhant Karnick for whom dance is their sole passion. How they arrive out of nowhere and go on to reach the pinnacle of success in the dancing arena forms the focal point of FAST FORWARD.
Vinod Khanna, who was very recently seen in an interesting role in 99, plays a dancing mentor whose role is that of a guide to these youngsters who are shown competing to showcase their dancing skills. Apparently, to suit the character, Vinod Khanna also lost a lot of weight.
Since music of FAST FORWARD is touted to be primarily westernized, DJ Akbar Sami has been roped in as a composer. Also starring starlets Sabina Sheema and Bhavna Pani along with Mahesh Manjrekar, FAST FORWARD is all set for a 10th July release, the same day when SHORTKUT - THE CON IS ON also arrives. It would be interesting to see how the film fares on its release since KAMBAKKTH ISHQ arrives on 3rd July while JASHNN hits the screens on 17th July.
