But all this is about to change as we have news from reliable trade sources that Ekta Kapoor has roped in the critically and commercially acclaimed director of A WEDNESDAY, Neeraj Pandey, to direct her next venture.
Yes, the award winning director has been signed by the soap queen for her upcoming project and is all geared up for his next assignment.
The coming together of Ekta Kapoor and Neeraj Pandey has surprised the trade circle considering the fact that both are known for quite diametrically opposite films. Ekta's films are more commercial, while Neeraj has proven his mettle as a successful semi-art house director.
