Pritam on LAK songs: Mujhe laga meri naak kat jaayegi

| LOVE AAK KAL music album is just round the corners even as the number 'Twist' is a huge hit already. However, composer Pritam wasn't satisfied with what he had created for this Imtiaz Ali film initially. This is why on seeing the first cut of the film, he pleaded with the film maker to allow him to come up with two more tracks and add them to the film.
''Initially I had composed five songs for the film. On seeing these songs in the first cut of the film, I thought something was amiss. Even though Imtiaz and Saif were happy with what they saw and heard, I was craving for that something more in the film. There have been such huge expectations from LOVE AAJ KAL especially after JAB WE MET. I wanted this album to be a wholesome affair and thought that 'agar kuch bhi kam hua toh meri naak kat jaayegi''', confesses Pritam who then went on to make two more songs for the film.

''I literally pleaded before Imtiaz to allow me two more songs. I needed that chance and he ultimately gave in. Once these additional numbers were composed and placed in the film, I was much more relaxed'', says Pritam who is anxiously waiting for audience reaction to the film's music.
And which have been these two songs?
''One is a dance number called 'Aahun Aahun' which in all probability should now come during the end credit rolls. Another is a song called 'Ajj Din Chadheya' which has an extended montage going with it. Imtiaz has incorporated it beautifully in the film'', reveals Pritam.
