Guess there are some makers out there who don't want the recession season to affect their dream of making a Bollywood film a quality affair by any means. The makers of Upen Patel starrer HUM AAP AUR PYAAR, the shooting of which is expected to kick start this month, are leaving no stones unturned to make it one of the most lavish affairs that one has seen in the recent times.
Says a highly placed source attached to the film's crew, ''Even though the film has a new director and a new leading lady at the helm, the producers have committed to a huge budget for HUM AAP AUR PYAAR. Not just are they looking at a start to finish shooting schedule in South Africa, they also have plans to take the film to numerous adjoining exquisite locations.''
Apparently the budget of this romantic comedy is said to be in excess of 10 crores, quite a figure in today's time when recession seems to have hit the industry hard.

When enquired about this, Upen was reluctant to reveal the real budget, ''Let me not comment on the actual budget of the film because it is the prerogative of my producers Desai brothers. What I can say though is that they have been so convinced with the script that they want to give it all for their debut Bollywood project. During my interaction with them, I have realized that they have a keen business sense.''
Danish Desai, the elder of Desai brothers, who is currently in South Africa and is getting the final plans in place for the film's shoot sounds excited about the beginning of his debut Bollywood venture, ''We are passionate about cinema and believe in making it rich enough to reach out to a wide segment of their target commercial audience. With Upen we are exploring the youth market that loves light hearted romantic musical entertainers. We don't want to spare any expense in making this as one of the most talked about and awaited film in times to come.''
The film is also special for seeing the Bollywood debut of Miss India 2007 finalist Esha Gupta.
