Performing one's own stunts is fast catching up with Bollywood. In fact gone are the days when actors used to cool their heals in the comfort of their vanity vans while extras did the hard work of performing stunts. With modern day equipments coming with good measures and ensuring safety of the stuntmen, more and more actors are coming forward to be a part of the adrenalin rush and participate in stunt and action sequences.
Bobby Deol is one such actor who has done a dare devilry act for his upcoming release EK - THE POWER OF ONE. In the film, for an all important thrilling sequence, he didn't think twice before consenting to do a stunt sequence that required him to jump from, hold your breath, 14 floors!

Confirms director Sangeeth Sivan who was worried about his hero's safety when the latter expressed his desire to do the stunt all by himself, ''I was worried but Bobby was convinced that he could do it. The sequence was shot in Kandivali where a scene required a political rally comprising of 2000 people being taken out. For the scene Bobby was required to jump 14 stories and he has given such an unbelievable shot for that.''
The movie is said to be DDLJ meets DIE HARD which means a lethal mix of romance and adrenalin rush is expected in the narrative that unfolds.
''Bobby has given a mind-blowing performance in this film which is just tailor-made for him. His contribution to the film has been immense and with him and Nana Patekar together, EK - THE POWER OF ONE has turned out to be a slick affair. Both the actors have contrasting styles when the camera is switched on and they compliment each other very well'', continues Sangeeth.
EK - THE POWER OF ONE stars Shreya Saran as the leading lady opposite Bobby Deol who serenades her in Punjab's 'sarson-de-khet'. The film is all set for 27th March release.
