If you are thinking that we are referring to the famous Holi song from SHOLAY, featuring Jai-Veeru (Amitabh and Dharmendra) you are wrong! Actually, we are talking about the upcoming Fardeen-Kunal starrer, JAI VEERU, which has been pre-poned by two days.

Produced by Narendra Bajaj and Shyam Bajaj (of AKSAR and THE TRAIN fame), JAI VEERU - FRIENDS FOREVER marks the comeback of Fardeen Khan to the big screen after a long hiatus and was slated to hit the theatres on 13th March. But in order to cash in on the Holi festivities, the film will now release on March 11th in some circuits. When we contacted the prominent North Indian distributor of JAI VEERU, Mukta Movies Distributors, they confirmed that the film is now releasing this Wednesday.
It remains to be seen how fruitful this move turns out for the box-office prospects of the Puneet Sira directed JAI VEERU, and whether Anurag Kashyap's GULAAL, which is set for a 13th March release, would follow suit and release earlier.
