For director Robby Grewal, it was the case of real life imitating reel life as he got married last week. A point to be noted is that his ALOO CHAAT, which releases this Friday, is also centered on two lovers planning their marriage.
For the uninitiated, ALOO CHAAT is a love story between a Punjabi Hindu boy (Aftab Shivdasani) and a Muslim girl (Aamna Shariff) who eventually want to get married. Taking a leaf from the film that he was directing, Robby took an impromptu decision and got married less than a fortnight before the release of his third film. The marriage took place in Delhi, Robby's hometown, on 9th march as he took 'saat pheras' with Teena Chaudhary, a model and anchor for Zoom's program ''Page 3''. This was followed by a reception on the very next day, before Robby flew back to Mumbai.

''The marriage just happened though it wasn't planned that way'', says Robby who will go on a honeymoon only after the release of his film, ''A lot is happening this month and thankfully all has been quite good so far. I got married to the woman I love while audience too appears to be in love with the film already, if response to the promos is any indication. I just wish that this lucky spell continues even after the release of the film.''
