The director OF EK- THE POWER OF ONE, Sangeeth Sivan has honestly admitted that the Bobby Deol-Nana Patekar starrer is a remake of the Telugu hit, ATHADU (2005), which made Mahesh Babu, the superstar down South a household name.

However, what he did not reveal was that it was macho man Sunny Deol (who has earlier worked with Sangeeth Sivan in ZOR), who requested Sangeeth to see the original (ATHADU) and inspired him to go ahead with the remake starring his younger brother Bobby. Sangeeth naturally was bowled over by the movie and thus the idea of remaking ATHADU was propagated and the film happened. This revelation was made by Bobby himself who has openly admitted the role of his elder brother and erstwhile superstar, Sunny Deol in the remake of the film. Bobby also said that the Deol family share a very good working relationship with Sangeeth, who he feels has a good knowledge of what the public wants.
EK-THE POWER OF ONE is all set to release on March 27th all over and let's hope the amazing chemistry between Nana and Bobby work and bring Bobby Deol back in reckoning.
