The current controversy generated by RGV's upcoming film seems to be growing by the day. Now, while certain people bring in the theory of the freedom of expression to support the lyrics that supposedly disrespect the national anthem, others feel that there is nothing called absolute freedom in creativity.

Noted lyricist Javed Akhtar says, ''If RGV's song in RANN is disrespectful to the national anthem or sounds similar, I think we should not support such creativity. After all creative freedom is not a license to make fun of your national identity.''
Well, it seems RGV is not finding many supporters in his quest to garner maximum publicity through his controversial song. With stalwarts like Javed Akhtar making such remarks, we think Ramu might be fighting a lonely battle in the end.
