Payal Rohatgi turns journalist

Ex-inmate of the last season of BIG BOSS, Payal Rohatgi , is turning over a new leaf in her career. Consciously keeping away from the genre of films that she did in the early part of her career, she is now aiming for performance based roles. This is why in her next film; she would be playing the role of a journalist.
Confirms Payal, ''Yes, I have signed the role of a journalist and it's a lead role. I play someone who is very down to earth and quite serious about her profession. I should be seen in an altogether different light in the film.''
She isn't willing to give any more details about the project though.
''An announcement in this regard should be out soon. The thing is that today film makers are quite cautious before going public with their films. Due to market condition there are all sorts of confusions but we should be having our film coming on floors soon. In fact I have a photo shoot for the film happening this month'', reveals Payal.

Since she has adopted a wait and watch mode ever since she changed her approach towards choosing the kind of characters that she wanted to play, how is Bollywood treating her currently?
''Well, Bollywood has accepted my existence in the industry even though I don't have a star surname or a Godfather. That's good for me as of now'', smiles Payal, ''In fact I am glad that I have made my own surname famous today.''
Talking about the love that she is getting from industry today, she says, ''Bollywood is respecting my stand and is offering me meatier roles now. It's no more about just looking glam. Agreed that the times are not great for great scripts to be written but film makers are offering me the best that they can to me today. I am confident that there would be better times ahead for everyone.''
