Rajshri's Indo-Jap love story to be launched in July!

| It was on the last day of 2008 that we broke the news about Sooraj Barjatya's next, an Indo-Japanese love story, directed by his assistant, Arti Bagdi, with Tamanna Bhatia and Yusuke Yuwi Fukuchi, a Japanese model, playing the lead pair. We now have further information that veteran actor Farooq Sheikh, ex-actor, and (now) popular television artist Kanwaljeet and yesteryear's top actress Poonam Dhillon have been included in the cast.
As we had told you, the film is a love story and it centers around an Indian girl and a Japanese boy, who meet in London, where both of them are for higher education. Like most of Sooraj's film (especially MAINE PYAR KIYA), the couple remains best of friends, ultimately falling in love and then they face opposition from their respective parents. The story of the film is written by Sulekha Bajpai.
The project which was all set to go on the floors during the first month of January, was delayed and is now all ready to roll in July. Famous Bollywood designer Neeta Lulla's daughter, Nishka Lulla, will design the costumes for the project and so it can be called her debut film as a dress designer.
After a not so great response to their last venture, EK VIVAAH...AISA BHI, this film will be of utmost importance to the Barjatyas so that they can cement their position as one of the top producers of Bollywood, an image which has diminished somewhat, especially after the advent of the corporates in the production and distribution sector.
