Neetu Singh: Ranbir has been making smart choices

If there is one young actor who has been making heads turn with a wide variety of roles that he has been picking up ever since his debut, it is Ranbir Kapoor. After a surreal experience called SAAWARIYA, he quickly decided to shift gears and delivered a feel good BACHNA AE HASEENO. However, he ensured that it is not only going to be chocolate boy roles for him, as apparent in movies like WAKE UP SID and RAJNITI that he signed soon after.

''He has been doing his own stuff and SAAWARIYA as well as BACHNA AE HASEENO have shown that he has been making smart choices and succeeding quite well'', says Neetu Kapoor who also adds that neither she nor hubby Rishi Kapoor have ever tried to teach Ranbir how to act.

''We may like sharing acting tips with him or critique his work, but we have always avoided sermonizing and coaching when it comes to the way he handles his career'', adds Neetu Kapoor who along with Rishi Kapoor has been facing the camera for almost an entire lifetime, ''This is something that we were very sure about since the very beginning of Ranbir's career''.

She is happy that Ranbir is making some good moves, as apparent from other films like ROCKET SINGH - SALESMAN OF THE YEAR and AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI that are expected to release before the end of year.

''Whatever he has done, he has done on his own. Of course whenever he has needed any help, we have always been there just like any other parents would be. But beyond that, it's always up to him on how he wants to interpret a character and portray it on the screen'', she smiles.
