Mrs. Amrita Arora's film gears up for release

Amrita Arora had an eventful 2008 with the release of three of her films - GOLMAAL RETURNS, HEROES and HELLO - each of them being successful at the box office though on different scale. However, the fact cannot be denied that this was Amrita's most successful year ever since she made her debut seven years back with KITNE DOOR KITNE PASS in 2002.

2009 isn't going to be less eventful though for Amrita who recently got married to Shakeel Ladak and is now staring at her BIG film KAMBAKKTH ISHQ to release soon. However, before that another film of hers, TEAM - THE FORCE is expected to arrive in theaters. The film has been ready for close to two years and there was a time when the promos were on the air as well. But before catching up on momentum, they suddenly disappeared and the film went into cold storage.

Now there are talks of reviving the film and bring it back on theaters. The current time would be good for that as well since the producers v/s multiplexes strike is hardly showing any signs of coming to an end and theaters are starved of any new releases. Not that TEAM - THE FORCE would suddenly turn out to be the OM SHANTI OM moment for the multiplexes but given the situation when yesteryear films are the order of the day for majority of multiplexes, it may not be a bad deal for TEAM - THE FORCE to try it's luck.

Directed by Ajay Chandok whose last release was KISSE PYAAR KAROON [Arshad Warsi, Udita Goswami, Aashish Chaudhary], TEAM - THE FORCE stars Sohail Khan in the lead with Yash Tonk paired opposite Aarti Chhabria. Others in the case include Vrajesh Hirjee, Mushtaq Khan, Sayaji Shinde, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Shahbaaz Khan. The film has music by Dabboo Malik.
