That Celina Jaitley is very upbeat about her forthcoming Mukta Arts films, PAYING GUEST, and that the film reminded her of the days when she lived as a paying guest in Kolkata, is news that was brought to you just a few days back. Here we bring you a first hand account of her real life experiences as a paying guest during her starting days as a model in Kolkata.
Celina does not have very pleasant memories of her days spent as a paying guest. She recounts that people in those days being quite orthodox did not approve of girls modeling and so it was very difficult for her to find an accommodation. Even those who agreed would ask her to deposit Rs. ten thousand extra and she was ordered to abide by numerous unnecessary rules and regulations. Recalls Celina, ''One woman agreed to let me stay as a paying guest, provided I keep my hair braided or cut it short. I was too scared to come back to my room if I got late and so I used to call up my friends and requested them to let me stay overnight. In, fact I switched eight places in just two years, as life as a paying guest was really difficult. However, I managed somehow!''
Well, Celina, may be your experiences as a real paying guest were not pleasant but we are certain that the box-office result of the Paritosh Painter directed film PAYING GUEST will be much to your liking!
