Her dumb bimbette act in RACE won Sameera Reddy a lot of fans and praise too and Priyadarshan's DE DANA DAN will see her continuing in the same successful comic mode.

Naturally, Sameera Reddy has a lot of hope from this multistarrrer that brings back the iconic HERA PHERI team. Commenting on why the film is titled DE DANA DAN and not a sequel to HERA PHERI (even though its being touted and marketed as one!), Sameera says that DE DANA DAN is the best and the most apt title for the film as this phrase can be used at any point, anywhere and is relevant to the main plot. She explains that most people wish that they get money 'dana dan' or their luck changes so that their wishes are granted at super fast speed that is 'dana dan'. And so in more ways than one the title of the film goes well with the subject where all the main protagonists do not have the patience and want things done in an express manner.
One has to admit that this is quite a good way of putting the point across without beating around the bush and explaining the rationale behind the funny but apt title.
