A little more than a year after JANNAT, Emraan Hashmi is returning with director Kunal Deshmukh for his second directorial venture TUM MILE. While it is expected that the film's leading man would be passionate about his upcoming film and would make statements in appreciation of everything associated with it, Emraan makes it a point to touch upon the emotional quotient of TUM MILE, something which is stated to be a highlight factor of this Mukesh Bhatt production.

"In the past, I have played quite a lot of grey roles that have been liked by the audience. However, this one is completely white", says Emraan who was seen in RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES earlier this year, "Also, the film is highly dramatic and is a very emotional and moving experience. In fact I can confidently state that it is much stronger than JANNAT."

CHECK OUT: Hollywood can learn from us

He says this with a reason. Other than the fact that the film is based on the infamous Mumbai floods, there is a strong undercurrent of relationships converging from past and present.

"This further enhances the drama", he continues, "Also, it's an entirely new format in which TUM MILE has been made. There is an entirely different manner in which it has been edited and presented is a new format. You would be able to realize that within minutes of the beginning of the film."

Shot in Cape Town and Mumbai, TUM MILE tells the story of the characters played by Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan who were once in love when in college. How they happen to get stuck together in the floods of Mumbai and explore each other all over again after a gap of all these years forms the crux of TUM MILE which is currently boasting of some chartbuster music by Pritam.
