She may be known for her sexy figure and glamorous avtaar. But, when Sameera Reddy decided to wear an 8kg dress for her upcoming film with Priyadarshan, the dressing up act turned out to be a real ordeal for the actress.

It's learnt that Sameera Reddy was to perform a special number for the film and it required her to wear a heavily embroidered dress that weighted around 8 kgs. Though Sameera gladly wore the dress, the ordeal started when it suddenly started raining and the dress became too heavy for her to carry.
According to witnesses present at the location, Sameera was bogged down under the weight of the dress that had soaked in large quantities of water. Despite that the actress continued to dance and stopped only when her feet began to get bruised.
A spokesperson of the actress confirmed the story and added, "It was a real ordeal for the actress who wore the heavy dress which later got heavier when it rained. But, despite the entire ordeal the shoot was completed on time."
