Arbaaz Khan is surprised that people have questioned his recent release to have been named as KISAAN. It has also been stated that in modern age that we live, a better title could have perhaps been thought of.

"Arrey, this is all so strange. Ours is an agricultural country and 'kisaan' is a term which is used across 80% of our land. In any case, a good film is a good film. KISAAN was named so since the target audience for our film is entire India. People have also questioned if the film had to be really set in a village. Come on, didn't LAGAAN too have a village backdrop", questions Arbaaz.

CHECK OUT: KISAAN Movie Review

He goes on to continue, "Even LAGAAN didn't have any urbanization to it and it still succeeded so well amongst masses as well as classes. Even we haven't made KISAAN just for a niche audience; we were always looking at a commercial outing for the film that could find universal acceptance coming its way. At the end of the day, if a film connects with you at en emotional level, it would work. And if that doesn't happen then no matter what you do, your film won't succeed. You can set it in modern times and make it all stylish but soul is most important."

On a parting note, he does make a point, "The whole title business amuses me. Who would have thought that we would have a film with a title like COMPANY? Still, the film did work, isn't it? So let's go beyond the titles and start looking at getting the script right and telling the story well."

One hopes that exactly is the case with his debut production venture DABANGG which again boasts of a rather unusual title
