Salman Khan is incredibly secular is well known. But that he's also a patriot was evident in Delhi on Wednesday when the superstar encouraged the people to unite and work towards the betterment of the India.

The star cast of the forthcoming movie WANTED partnered with a news channel to motivate and educate the populace to come together and forget all the differences to make India First.

At an oath taking ceremony organized by the channel at Vijay Chowk, the celebrities interacted with the youth and formed a Human Chain to spread the message. Appealing to fellow citizens, Salman Khan said, ''I am an Indian. Nationalism is my religion... WANTED responsible citizens who think about INDIA FIRST''. As responsible citizens of the country and feeling for the cause Salman and other celebrities encouraged people to forget all the differences like caste, language, religion and region and unite to work towards the betterment of the country.

Salman also asked people not be divided by communal mindsets and unite together irrespective of their religion, caste or creed.

''We should unite and do everything for the betterment of our country,'' added the actor.

Salman Khan & Prabhu Deva took part in the signature campaign and encouraged people to pledge to make India first in all instances. In addition, students from educational institutions also performed a skit and cultural programmes in sync with the initiative.
