MOHIT SURI and EMRAAN HASHMI |
| The director of sleeper hits like ZEHER, KALYUG and RAAZ...THE MYSTERY CONTINUES, Mohit Suri has formally announced his next project, under the Bhatts' banner, Vishesh Films. The film will deal with the current topic of racial discrimination faced by the students of Indian origin in Australia. And for that Mohit is flying to Australia to gather a first hand account on the subject. He will also meet the students who have been targeted and do a thorough research on the subject before the film goes on the floor. Naturally Bhatts' lucky mascot and permanent hero, Emraan Hashmi, has been chosen to play the main lead.
CHECK OUT: Mohit Suri to make a film on racial discrimination
The Bhatts have been known for making topical films, and Mohit Suri is an experienced hand in that genre, having directed films like KALYUG, with the backdrop of the porn industry and about how hidden cameras have wrecked the lives of many innocent people. So, one can expect some out-of-the-box and hard hitting stuff from Mohit Suri, after a somewhat disappointing (cinematically) RAAZ...THE MYSTERY CONTINUES.
Here's hoping that the winning streak of the Emraan Hashmi-Mohit Suri team, that started with ZEHER, KALYUG and RAAZ...THE MYSTERY CONTINUES, will continue with the proposed film. And may it help in making the world realize the sufferings of our fellow Indians, who have been victims of racial discrimination, for no fault of their own.
