Aditya Chopra's advice to Ranveer Singh!

Yash Raj's next Friday release, BAND BAAJA BAARAAT, is certainly carrying a good hype despite the dull response to new films at the turnstile. The lead actor Ranveer Singh may be a newcomer but without an iota of doubt he appears to be a terrific actor, as can be gauged from the promos and trailers of the Manish Sharma directed film.

The actor, while interacting with the local press, reflected upon his experiences and his first meeting with the producer Aditya Chopra. Ranveer spoke about how he met Aditya after going through seven auditions. Ranveer disclosed that Aditya advised him that since he was not conventionally good looking, he had to let his work and acting do the talking so that the audience does not concentrate on his looks but should be impressed with his acting capabilities, his forte. He also expressed his gratitude that the Yash Raj Films banner was launching him as a solo hero (which in a way may well be a first in recent times!) and further added that he hoped that the audience would accept him and the film so that he is able to fulfill all the hopes and justify the confidence that the banner has placed in him.

Well, it's only a matter of a few days and we will know whether the audience gives their thumbs up to Ranveer and BAND BAAJA BAARAAT or not. As for us we are quite sure that they definitely will!
