Rajkumar Hirani to direct Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh was initially to work with Rajkumar Hirani in 3 IDIOTS, but as fate would have it became an emotional tangle for Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani and Shahrukh.

However, exactly a year after 3 IDIOTS released, Rajkumar Hirani is working with Shahrukh Khan. However, Rajkumar Hirani will be directing Shahrukh in an Ad film, and not in a film. The Ad film is to be shot for a popular brand, under which Rajkumar Hirani has already shot two ads for, one with Kareena Kapoor and another with Amitabh Bachchan.

The brand was extremely excited about the reaction that the Ads directed by Rajkumar Hirani have gotten, they therefore decided to approach him to shoot an ad with Shahrukh, which is finally being shot on the 8th of this month.

Rajkumar Hirani directs ads as a hobby, and has started a new division under the banner of Canvas Films. Canvas Films will be headed by Sanjeev Kishinchandani.

Confirming the story, says Sanjeev "Yes, we are shooting with Shahrukh, we also worked with Kareena and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan under the same brand."
