Sandeepa Dhar has seen quite a few notes of appreciation coming for the debut that she has made in this Friday release ISI LIFE MEIN...!. Happy with the fact that it's her simplicity which has been noticed most, she also goes on to joke that she possibly deserves an award for the triple role that she has played in this film where she is paired opposite another debutant Akshay Oberoi. "To go from 'seedhi saadhi' Rajnandini to a 'teekhi karaari' Katherina was one huge challenge because in real life I am neither of them", laughs Sandeepa, "Third was the in-between part where I am rechristened as RJ by my college mates. Guess I should get an award for this triple role that I had to play day in and night out during the making of this film." In this Vidhi Kasliwal directed film, Sandeepa plays a small town girl who is quite simple and is exposed to the city life once she arrives in Mumbai for her further studies. However, a chance incident makes her turn into a lead actor for a play based on Shakespeare's 'Taming of the Shrew'.
CHECK OUT: Sandeepa's dreams to come true, ISI LIFE MEIN...! Now that she is through with her first film, an obvious question is about the projects that Sandeepa would want to pick in future. "Honestly speaking, I don't plan much", confesses Sandeepa, "I haven't really thought that ab main aisi karoongi ya waise karoongi. I have got into a profession of acting because here I would be getting a chance to do different things in different films. If I am just the same in all films then audience will get bored of me. I want people to say that 'arrey yaar, this girl is different'. I am hungry for such compliments. I don't want to be a stereotype and instead aspire to be known for my versatility." Sure girl, we look forward to that.
