Amruta on her bikini shoot in HIDE N SEEK

Bo Derek made history when in Hollywood flick 10, she ran on a beach in a swimsuit. Later Neha Dhupia followed it up for her debut effort QAYAMAT where she emerged in a bikini for her very first shot in Bollywood. Now Miss-India Earth Amruta is following it up as she joins the elite group of leading ladies whose first shot ever the film industry has been in a swim suit. She does so for Apoorva Lakhia produced thriller HIDE N SEEK where she plays the role of a socialite.

Confirming the news and pretty much indicating that she went into 'Hide & Seek' with eyes wide open, Amruta assures that she is perfectly okay with skin show and didn't consent to donning this costume just because it is treated as a 'professional compulsion 'in Bollywood.

"Honestly speaking, I was absolutely okay about wearing a two piece for this particular shot", smiles Amruta who had won the Miss-India Earth crown in 2006, "See, it was not about the skin show when I consented to it. It was also about how comfortable I was about revealing. One has to be sure that there is a right angle for shooting and it doesn't look cheap or vulgar at all on screen. Moreover, since I have already done such shoot for the Miss India contest, I was pretty comfortable with the entire idea. In any case, I completely believe in the saying that 'if you have it, flaunt it'."

She is now looking forward to the release of HIDE N SEEK, which hits the screens on 12th March. Directed by debutant Shawn Arranha, HIDE N SEEK also stars Purab Kohli, Arjan Bajwa, Mrinalini Sharma, Samir Kochhar and Ayaz Khan.
