Shahid Kapoor has definitely had a great 2009! After winning critical acclaim as well as applause from the audience as Guddu and Charlie in KAMINEY, he has gone on to win the Screen award for the most popular male actor of 2009.

Shahid was also seen hosting and performing at the award ceremony which was held on Saturday, 9th January 2009. In fact, he made an impressive and confident debut as and performed to the foot tapping 'Dhan Te Nan' from KAMINEY. From ISHQ VISHQ to KAMINEY, Shahid has definitely come a long way and grown & matured as an actor is clearly visible in the actors portrayal of the ambitious Guddu and the menacing Charlie.
Shahid is certainly on a roll and this year the audiences are going to see him next as the struggler who aims to make it big in Ken Ghosh's next, CHANCE PE DANCE which releases on the 15th of January 2010.
