Nana Patekar inspires KRANTIVEER actor

The upcoming film KRANTIVEER directed by Mehul Kumar is making news for reasons more than its story. According to our sources, one of the main actors in the film - Samir Aftab, thinks that his role would have been impossible had he not watched Nana Patekar in action many times in a film which has a similar title.

The actor who plays the main lead in Mehul Kumar's film has watched Nana Patekar starrer KRANTIVEER over 15 times to understand the finer nuances of playing a powerful role. The actor has already acted in a few films before this and his act has been critically praised. Says he, "I have watched Nana Patekar in action in KRANTIVEER over 15 times and each time I have watched it I have got floored by his powerful performance. When I was offered the film, I made sure that I do justice to my powerful role and took inspiration from Nana Patekar for the role."

KRANTIVEER which is directed by veteran filmmaker Mehul Kumar is a powerful subject featuring new faces. The films music is already out and the makers are waiting for the release date to test its fate at the box office.
