When Aamir intimidated DHOBI GHAT heroine Monica!

Just last month we briefed our patrons about Monica Dogra (All about DHOBI GHAT ki Monica), the leading lady of Kiran Rao's debut directorial venture, DHOBI GHAT, and here is more about her first scene in the film .

Even though Monica is not new to camera or even acting as she has performed in New York Theater circuit and is an active band member, yet when Monica was required to give her first shot she was petrified and intimidated.

Yes, the simple reason was that the first scene she shot for in DHOBI GHAT required her to act opposite none other than the great man Aamir. And naturally the young artist was highly intimidated but she just took a deep breath to let the moment sink in and relax. Soon, she overcame her fears and went ahead with the shot. Monica reveals that since then the film was shot as a team, which gave her a lot of confidence.

Hardly surprising as we know that with Aamir at the helm of affairs Monica had to come out with flying colours.
