Imran will get married in the court

Imran Khan has taken a surprise decision. The actor will be marrying in the court and will not go for a traditional Muslim wedding.

This decision has been taken keeping the fact of different religions in mind. Imran is a Muslim and Avantika a Hindu, the two have decided to get married in the courts to make matters easy. Though Imran's family is known to be quite religious but they have never tried to impose anything on the actor.

Imran was muddling over all these thoughts during the shoot of BREAK KE BAAD and finally he took inspiration from Danish Aslam, his director who had a court marriage with Shruti Seth.

So Imran Khan will have a very private, court marriage at his place in second week of January, 2011. Everything about the wedding has been kept under wraps.

Imran khan says, 'I am from a Muslim family and Avantika belongs to a Hindu family, I personally didn't want to commit our wedding to one religion or another. We felt the best way for us was that we would keep it neutral and have a court marriage. Even Danish my director of BREAK KE BAAD was in same situation and had a court marriage too.'

Now, Imran and Avantika will get married in the courts and later they will have some quiet celebrations with close family and friends.

Well, looks like Imran and Avantika have decided to ruffle no feathers by taking the help of the courts. Must say, intelligent couple.
