PANKAJ ADVANI

SANKAT CITY director Pankaj Advani passed away this morning after suffering from a severe heart attack. He was 45.

Pankaj had written films like KABHI HAAN KABHI NAA, URF PROFESSOR and CAPE KARMA. He went on to direct (and write) SANKAT CITY and even a children's film, SUNDAY which he had made for Children's Film Society of India.

His film SANKAT CITY starring Kay Kay Menon, Rimi Sen and Anupam Kher, which released last year, was highly acclaimed and well-received. Pankaj was also an active blogger and usually wrote about movies that impressed him.
