Akshay returns from his Goa holiday

After a quick family holiday in Goa, Akshay Kumar has returned to Mumbai. It was a mini vacation of sorts for Akshay who spent five days at his bungalow at Anjuna beach in Goa.

Informs a family friend of Akshay, "He has a set rule that at least once a year he goes out for a major holiday with his family. He does that in summer during his son's school holidays where he travels somewhere far away. Most of the times it is in USA or Europe. However, there are also instances like these when between the release of two of his films, he goes off on a quick break somewhere closer to Mumbai."

A couple of months back, Akshay had visited Dubai for a short holiday. Now soon after the Diwali release of ACTION REPLAYY followed by a whirlwind promotion of the music of TEES MAAR KHAN, Akshay found some spare days ahead. This is when he pronto decided to pack his bags and spend some quality time with Twinkle Khanna and Aarav along with few other close family members.

"It turned out to be rejuvenating exercise for Akshay as he not just indulged in water sports but also played computer games with his son. Though he is a morning person, he didn't hesitate in breaking some rules and twisted around his schedule so that it matched that of the rest of his family", adds the friend.

Given the fact that Akshay is often tagged as someone who is always super busy with four-five movie releases every year, a holiday like this pretty much acted as a breather of sorts for him.
