After Akshay, Hrithik too disappoints in the Overseas!

Two top five actors, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar, having a good following in the Overseas, with another top international name Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for company, and what happens? Their latest films, GUZAARISH and ACTION REPLAYY, fail to impress the Overseas audience in the two biggest markets, US and UK!

While ACTION REPLAYY struggled to get to $410,000 in the US, GUZAARISH has fared better grossing $488,121 during the opening weekend itself, but a very ordinary effort for the stars involved. Moving on to UK, ACTION REPLAYY has barely crossed £385,000 till date and GUZAARISH has grossed just about £165,000 during the first weekend.

What makes it worse is the name of the directors of the two projects- Sanjay Leela Bhansali (GUZAARISH) and Vipul Shah (ACTION REPLAYY).

However, all is not lost and we are quite hopeful that the two top stars will make a resounding Overseas (as well as domestic) comeback via their next two projects; Akshay with TEES MAAR KHAN and Hrithik with ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA.
