Sajid brings HOUSEFULL 2 before Vashu's film

Post the success of HOUSEFULL, Sajid Khan was pronto roped by producer Vashu Bhagnani for his next major production. A big budget extravaganza, the film was being looked at with much anticipation, more so since Sajid was working with a production house outside Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Nadiadwala Grandson' for the first time.

However, as per the latest developments, Vashu Bhangani would have to wait for a while since it is Nadiadwala's HOUSEFULL 2 which would be going on floors soon. 'What happened', one asks Sajid Khan.

"Nothing surprising here really", he smiles, "I had never said that which of the two films would be beginning first. I have been signed by both Sajid Naidadwala as well as Vashu Bhagnani for a film each and any one of the two could have gone on floors first. Since the script of HOUSEFULL 2 shaped up quite well and has already been locked, it made sense to bring this one on floors first."

From the original cast of HOUSEFULL, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani and Chunky Pandey have been retained with John Abraham as the new addition. There are also chances of Arjun Rampal finding a way into the sequel. Also, sources claim that Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal are on the short list as well to make HOUSEFULL 2 a star studded affair.

Meanwhile, there is no panic button at Bhagnani's office since Sajid Khan is committed to get his film kick started the moment HOUSEFULL 2 is wrapped up.

"HOUSEFULL 2 would be wrapped up around middle of 2011. Post that I would be starting Vashu's film. It is happening for sure", assures Sajid.
