Sanjay Dutt's love for his NO PROBLEM director

Sanjay Dutt is in a desperate need or a hit. Except for his multi starrer ALL THE BEST which released last year, Sanjay hasn't tasted success for a long time, with KNOCK OUT, LAMHAA, ALADIN, BLUE, LUCK, EMI, KIDNAP and MEHBOOBA failing at the box office. No wonder, when he ended up working with director Anees Bazmee, who promises a super-hit outing for his actors - case in point being SINGH IS KINNG, WELCOME and NO ENTRY, he was mighty impressed with him. So much so that he ended up handing over a variety of gifts to him as a token of appreciation.

'Sanjay Dutt really loved me a lot and gave me a lot of respect,' says Bazmee who has worked with many established actors like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Firoz Khan in the past, 'I wanted to work with him for a long as I have always been a big fan of him. Somehow I never got that chance. When I got hold of it eventually, it only proved to be quite fruitful for me.'

So much so that besides the emotional connect that the actor and the director shared, there were also a few material things exchanged, which now holds a special place in Bazmee's heart.

'Sanjay became my best friend during the making of NO PROBLEM,' Bazmee gets emotional here, 'Whenever we were out for a shoot, he used to take me out for a while and buy me things like jackets, shoes, belts etc. He must have given me over half a dozen gifts at the least.'

Now one looks forward to whether this sense of brotherhood and togetherness coupled with exchange of gifts is relegated to just the film and its release or goes beyond that as well. We would know once this Anil Kapoor production releases all over on 10th December.
