Katrina shrugs away millions

Katrina Kaif is taking her next film very seriously. So much so that she is going all out to promote the film and keeping her other assignments on bay. This was pretty much on display when she chose to opt out of a tour in Bollywood. Though there was a lot of money on the offering here, Katrina didn't bite the bait and instead decided to be on the side of her co-star Akshay Kumar, director Farah Khan and producer Shirish Kunder.

"When most other actors would be inclined to make huge money on any available day, she has chosen to spend all her time on the promotion of our film", says Farah, "I know that she refused her America tour as she wanted to be around for full one and a half months for the film's promotion. The organizers were paying her in millions and she still refused. That's commendable."

No wonder, Farah is happy to have got a taste of her professionalism after directing Katrina for the first time ever.

"Much before she was finalised for TEES MAAR KHAN, Katrina was in touch with me. I remember that OM SHANTI OM too hadn't released by them but Katrina knew that one day we would be working together. She was very keen that she works in a film of mine and had been meeting or messaging me for the same", informs Farah, "I am glad to have roped her in. A gesture like from her where she has dropped out of her US tour goes to prove once again that she is a complete team player."

Well Farah, we would expect the sentiment to hold after the release of the film as well.
