Udita: I am not getting married

Udita Goswami is exasperated. Announcements have been made about her impending marriage and to her horror, she is not even aware of it. Worse, her to-be-hubby Mohit Suri has been quoted making this commitment even as the young director is crying foul.

"It was really silly for something like this to come out when the fact is that I am not getting married in near future", says Udita who is clearly disturbed by the turn of events, "In fact the moment I read this report, I checked with Mohit if he had made any such announcements. He tells me that he hasn't and I have all the right reasons to trust him more than anyone else who claims that Mohit has confided in him about this."

This comes close on the heels of the Friday release of CROOK. The film is directed by Mohit who has been enjoying a pretty neat record ever since he made his debut with ZEHER. During one of his interviews, he was apparently asked if he would be marrying girl friend Udita soon.

"He was asked if there was something happening between him and Udita. What could he have possibly replied? The world knows that we have been together for so many years now. All he did was smile", says Udita who refuses to be remotely amused about the incident, "Further to that, he commented that the first goal in his life was to earn a lot of money. To achieve that, he wanted CROOK to be a success. This is it, as simple as that."

"Next day morning, he woke up to the news that he would marry me once CROOK becomes a hit", she continues, "I wish Mohit and his team all the best for CROOK but the film's success won't quite have a bearing on our relationship."

Guess the wedding bells would have to wait.
