Arindam Chaudhuri's DO DOONI CHAAR has been garnering appreciation ever since it released last week.

After the reviewers decorated it with stars and hailed it as several things from 'landmark in Indian film-making' to 'one of the years' best films', the people have embraced the film with even more enthusiasm. Everyone at Planman Motion Pictures including Producer Arindam Chaudhuri is elated with the response and the fact that people from all walks of life are loving the film.

Joining the long list of celebrity fans for the film, are Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Gandhi. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who saw DO DOONI CHAAR some days back and loved it, organized a special screening of the film for the cricket legend. In fact, it's the first thing Sachin did after getting home, fresh from the success of the India-Australia test series. He saw the film with wife Anjali and some close friends.

After the screening he said, 'It's a nice film and has got a very good message.' And if buzz is to be believed, Rahul Gandhi took time off from his packed schedule to sneak into a Delhi multiplex and watch DO DOONI CHAAR. Running successfully in its second week, DO DOONI CHAAR is winning hearts all over. People are already betting that Rishi Kapoor and DO DOONI CHAAR will sweep the award functions next year! Here's wishing the film and the team all the luck!
