ALLAH KE BANDAY director Faruk Kabir turns author

He's directing and acting in his debut film, ALLAH KE BANDAY and now, he's all set to turn an author. We're talking about the multi-talented Faruk Kabir, who's working on his first book.

Reveals Faruk, "I'm writing a book of mine. It's going to about my experiences in the industry and more specifically on ALLAH KE BANDAY. The book is titled 'My first feature film- Gorilla filmmaking'. The book is under construction right now."

On being probed further, Faruk says, "This book is really my desire to share with every aspiring first time feature filmmaker or for the lakhs of people who are coming to industry wanting to work in different faculties of the industry. So the book spans through every faculty of filmmaking seen through the eyes of ALLAH KE BANDAY and through the eyes of a first time aspiring filmmaker like me. "

Speaking about releasing the book, the filmmaker said, "I plan to release the book after ALLAH KE BANDAY is released. In fact, I've already spoken with a publishing house which is very keen in the book."

Meanwhile, ALLAH KE BANDAY which also stars Sharman Joshi and Naseeruddin Shah is all set to release on November 12.
