Mallika thanks the industry for its generosity!

Despite being absent from the film industry for more than year, bindass actress, Mallika Sherawat has her hands full. The promotion of her upcoming Friday release, HISSS, is keeping Mallika busy and she is also pre-occupied shooting for her forthcoming project, DOUBLE DHAMAAL, the sequel to runway hit, DHAMAAL.

Thanking the industry for the generosity Mallika states that the industry has been very kind to her as no one puts their projects on hold and waits for someone in the industry. But as soon as she landed in Mumbai, Mallika started shooting for her next film DOUBLE DHAMAAL. Citing the reasons for doing DOUBLE DHAMAAL Mallika explains that after being accepted by the audience as well as the industry in a comic role (quite contrary to her bold, sexy image) in WELCOME, she thought it befitting to accept an all out comedy. And especially after a thriller like HISSS she was of view that a light hearted fun filled comedy will help her unwind and also provide the right kind of entertainment that the audience is looking for.
