Robin Lawrence to visit Anupam's Actor Prepares

Actor Prepares, the acting school founded by Anupam Kher, believes in scouting the globe for the best teachers and guest lecturers to interface with its students. Not long ago, it roped in Oscar award winning director Danny Boyle to spend an afternoon at the school. Now, it has engaged the veteran acting teacher/director Robin Lawrence from London for a series of lectures on acting and vocal techniques. Lawrence was professionally trained at Bristol's Old Vic Theatre School and has 23 accents and dialects at his command.

"I love to teach and I find at Actor Prepares a wonderful environment to generate inspirational values among students," says Lawrence, slipping from one dialect into another effortlessly. Undoubtedly Lawrence, who is also acting in a Bollywood film, is a rare find for aspiring actors.

"We at Actor Prepares have always believed in closing getting the best of faculties and Robin is one of the finest teachers. Time to time we also have various guest celebrities coming to our Mumbai institute for guest lectures and I am sure that it will continue," says Anupam Kher who is touring USA right now, himself visiting as a guest faculty in various universities.

Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares has a top of the line alumni to its name and to name a few- Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan. Actor Prepares over the years has grown its wings and expanded to Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and UK apart from Mumbai.
